VOTE YES FOR WLWV SCHOOLS

As your state legislators, we are proud to represent the communities of West Linn, Wilsonville, Tualatin, and surrounding neighborhoods. We are united in urging you to vote YES on Measure 3-629.

This bond is a smart, fiscally responsible investment in our children, our schools, and our community — without raising your tax rate.  In addition, the State will match an additional $6 million if this measure passes!

Safe, Reliable Schools
Measure 3-629 addresses critical safety needs across the district’s 16 schools. It funds fire safety upgrades, ADA accessibility improvements, and secure entry systems. It also provides standby generators to keep schools functioning during power outages—an essential investment in an era of increasing climate uncertainty.

Preparing Students for the Future
Oregon’s future workforce depends on students having the tools and training they need today. This bond funds modern classroom technology and provides one-to-one student devices. It also establishes a district-wide robotics and Career/Technical Education center, opening doors to high-demand careers in technology, trades, and health sciences.

Efficient Use of Resources
This bond does not increase taxes. It replaces older, expiring bonds, maintaining the current tax rate while funding essential projects. By investing in energy-efficient systems, it reduces utility costs, freeing up more resources for teaching and learning.

Strong Schools, Strong Communities
Good schools benefit everyone, not just families with children in the district. They protect property values, attract businesses, and serve as gathering spaces for community events. The bond also improves athletic facilities with turf, lighting, and accessibility upgrades—ensuring equity across schools and expanding opportunities for students and community use.

Measure 3-629 is about stewardship: caring for the schools we already have, ensuring safety and equity, and preparing our students for the future—all while keeping taxes stable.

We urge you to join us in voting YES on Measure 3-629.

Senate President Rob Wagner

State Senator Courtney Neron Misslin

State Representative Jules Walters

State Representative Sue Rieke-Smith
